I recently tried installing a dimmer to control the
brightness of 4 150W floodlights.  I used a dimmer
rated at 600W, but the dimmer itself buzzed, and 
introduced a buzz into my stereo system, which is
on the same branch.  Would a dimmer with a higher
rating eliminate this peoblem?  Thanks in advance!
