Unix programs Archive-site: ftp.eng.umd.edu [128.8.133.9] Reposted-by: emv@math.lsa.umich.edu (Edward Vielmetti) The machine ftp.eng.umd.edu has just been set up for anonymous ftp. The internet address might change at any time, so I won't post it -- use nameservers instead. The system doesn't have tons of disk space (about 33 meg for the ftp partition), but it does have some programs that have been the subject of repeated "where can I get" postings -- among others, there currently are top (works on Ultrix 4.0 and SunOS 4.1), zmodem, less version 123, arc, unzip, protoize, and a test version of g++ that can build groff under SunOS 4.1. Soon I think it will have xtank, as well. -- David J. MacKenzie
