Thanks to all who offered suggestions for printer flow control. The xonxoff
program is just what I need. Several suggested adding ",p" to the mode
command, but this is for hardware flow control, and I'm trying to avoid the
use of hardware flow control.

I really DID check my simtel list, I just didn't search on enough key words
to find the program there.... oh, well.
