I have an old type 1 (3Com) ethernet that I still use for a low traffic
subnet.  After the last power glitch it lights the collision indicator
on the transceiver whenever transmitting.  (No other stations, just a
transceiver with two terminators on it for testing.)

Does anyone have any experience with, or suggestions for, getting a type
1 ethernet card repaired?
