So, would someone be kind enough to tell me about it, or possibly recommend a down to earth book?? I am interested in all the usual things- filtering, FFTs, reverb, pitch shifting, re-synthesis etc. I would also be interested in real-time data compression, if anyone knows about that- I can't seem to find any books on it.
