Hi!  I just started looking at Gnu Emacs 18.55 on a SparcStation 1+,
SunOS 4.1 under Sunview.  I know about the emacs learn by doing tutorial
as well as the
texinfo tutorials.  Are there other things to read and do for beginners
to help them/us/me learn how to be comfortable with this editor?  Are
there 'must have' add on packages?  How about must have key bindings
for the SS1+?  For instance, it does not appear that my alt or diamond
keys act as meta keys - anyone work around that?  Thanks for
any help you might have.
