To program this board I use the Alice software tools. This is a compression library for Microsoft C version 5.0. For this purpose I bought the Microsoft C6.0 compiler. But I'm NOT very pleased with this compiler because it is so SLOOOOOOOOW. I heard that TURBO C++ is able to read and use microsoft libraries. So I tried it with some simple microsoft routines and it worked. But I can not get it to work with the compression library. The linker doesn't complain but the program crashes on an exit. It seems that the _exitfopen pointer is damaged by the compression tools. My questions are: - Is there somebody who is using this board who has tried the same thing ? - Can somebody give me some hints to get it working ? BTW I use the large memory model -- -- Arthur van Rooijen PTT Research Neher Laboratories, Phone : +31 70 3325092 2260 AK Leidschendam, Telefax: +31 70 3326477 P.O. box 421, Telex : 31236 prnl nl The Netherlands.
