We have HP's lisp (from Lucid?) and its big enough that running lisp on the machine means that no other users can do much of anything (like a C or Pascal compile). Further, it does not have CLOS - instead some sort of old Flavors construct, and the X windows interface does not work (among other things, in the editor, characters all come out backward!?). Does anyone have any suggestions for a lisp that will run on this machine? I'd like : Common Lisp, CLOS, X windows interface, reasonably small. Other lisps (or schemes) are also of interest - especially if they offer a good object system, X interface, small size, speed. -- jefu@jupiter.nmt.edu -- Jeff Putnam, New Mexico Tech, Socorro, NM
