I think it probably is possible in SunView too -- the difference is
probably the fact that the compose frame is current a "child" of the
main application frame.  If it were a toplevel frame as well, then
that'd get what you want.  The problem is that it doesn't work for
some older sunview's, I think.  If someone wants to test this on a
sun 3.5 system and let us know, we'll make the change.
