About the HOOD software from Systematica Limited,  you can get more info 
also from DEC, which in fact distributes it. 

A HOOD User Group should exist somewhere and I would really appreciate  to 
know more about...

I am just starting to look at HOOD and I am not aware of further doc. or 
articles.
