The criteria we are using to judge the various packages is the following: Rolalty Free Source Code Available Data Entry with attachable functions (custimize fields) Define context sensitive help for menus, forms & fields A Form Designer (prefer one which generates both source & binary files) Memos, tickertape fields and scrollable regions on forms The follow is criteria which is not mandatory but helpful: Mouse support Automatic switching between color & monochrome (define both and have program select at runtime) Multiple language (requires help to be stored in disk file) I would greatly appreciate it if some people could share their experiences (both positive & negative) they have had with any of the following packages: Vermont Views v2.0 w/Designer DataWindows v2.12 w/Makeform from GreenLeaf C-scape v3.0 w/Look & Feel from Oakland Group Please respond through email.
