     I have purchased and used several of these 1624's and in my opinion they
are the best for the cash.  They have a very very nice print face if you desire
high quality output they are quite acceptable for presentation's in house.

     I have been mostly placing them with secretarys for use with WordPerfect
5.1 and Quattro Pro.  Both these programs deal with the printer with ease.
I like the performance and durability better than the Epson LQ's.  I have been
having trouble with the epson's overheating after 150 pages of a report.


     I use one myself for wide carraige output ( I have a Laser Jet III for
other output).
