Title says it all -- we have a sun 4 running some version of (I believe)
CAP, and while the Macs can obviously use it fine, no PCs or Apple II's
can use the server without the filetype information being garbaged. I know
that it should be a trivial addition to the code, and the CS dept. says I
can try modifying the code we have, but I would much rather use an official
distribution that is actively being worked on rather that risk damaging
other people's files while attempting to patch the existing source.

interest.
