Gilmore, SIPC Network Services Anybody out there having 3174 session disconnect problems on the AEA ports? We are experiencing a problem on a 3174 with the following configuration: VTAM 3.2 VTAM 3.1.1 +------+ +------+ NCP 5.2 NCP 5.2 +------+ +--------+ +-----+ +-----+ 3174 HUGHES +---+ HOST -SNI- HOST ---- NCP -INN- NCP ---- AEA ---- FILE ---- CRT +-----+ +-----+ PORT SERVER +---+ +------+ +------+ +------+ +--------+ If a session is dropped the session with the host is not disconnected. Thus, a subsequent session on the same port receives the prior host session. Also, when a logoff is performed off of the host application the session (from the server) hangs and doesn't disconnect. By the way, the application is IDMS on a host that is a back-to-back gateway to us. Any suggestions? Thanks, Jerry Gilmore PHONE: 8*235-0385 -or- (518)385-0385 FAX: 8*235-0654 -or- (518)385-0654
