Instead, they have a hardware device sharing interface built into VINES. We offer a version of PC/TCP which talks to it, and gives the functionality you want. I don't know if any of the freeware developers have ever considered doing drivers for this. I have heard rumors of VINES which can use NDIS, and if you could get it, this could be combined with the NDIS-Packet Driver adapter to use freeware. If this is in fact a feature of their 4.0 release, I have been told it will be available sometime this winter. James B.
