p.s.  To use Clarkson (or NCSA) telnet with the UB-NIC/PS2, you
should not be trying to use a packet driver.  You should instead
specify the board directly in your config.tel.  I think the name
used for this board has changed between releases, but try 
something like "nicps" or "nicps2".  -David-
