(Sorry!) The reference was made in the context of the conventions for names under the /afs/CELLNAME/service directory, which included an /afs/CELLNAME/service/printing subdirectory. CMU has some ways of managing (and accounting) printing, but I don't know what those are. You might have better luck speaking with one of the Computing Systems employees, such as Brian Harrison ; I think he was involved with the most recent campus printing work. Craig
