I am looking for the MS C-source to a function that performs
polynomial fitting of data sets.

I have been trying to use SVDFIT.C (from _Numerical Recipes_,
Press, Flannery, Teukolsky, Vetterling) but I do not seem
to be getting correct output.  I do not have the time to horse
around with SVDFIT.C to get'er working right.

So, if anyone has a working polyfit function that they wouldn't
mind sharing with me...
