I'm looking at various hard drive controller and I've  looked  at
some that are DMA and some that are no.  Could someone clue me in
on what the advantages and disadvantages of using DMA and not us-
ing  DMA are?  The controller I'm considering strongly is a Supra
WordSync.  I'm also curious to know if you  can  build  a  switch
that  switched  the jumpers on controllers that require switching
jumpers to determine if they autoboot or not.
