VLT is perhaps the most thorough and complete vt100 emulation communication program I have ever used on any computer. Most term programs have small flaws with the more intricate control sequences, but VLT does not exhibit any of those problems. In addition, VLT is fast. There are no problems with I/O contention or sluggish response. VLT also supports a very thorough script language that interfaces with rexx, allowing complete control of the comm program itself. Transfer protocols are external, thereby giving you access to Kermit, Xmodem, Zmodem and any other protocol that is external. In addition VLT has a rexx port, allowing external control from Arexx. VLT also fully supports Tek 4010/4014 emulation and does a very good job with it. It sometimes has problems handling vector drawing at high baud rates (>9600), but other than that it supports IFF saving of TEK, archiving, complete color control, zooming, and extended TEK codes. I cannot over recommend VLT / it is the best VT100 PD comm package available for the Amiga, hands down. -- dean@coplex.UUCP Dean A. Brooks Copper Electronics, Inc.
