I've just ulpoaded the program scsiprefs.lzh to abcfd.larc.nasa.gov
(the "new xanth"). It can be found in /incoming/amiga.
This programm allows owners of an A3000 to change several parameters
of their SCSI host adaptor including:

SCSI Timeout (for Seagate drives)
Synchronous transfers
Host adaptor SCSI ID

It features a user interface similar to the existing Preferences editors
on WB 2.x and is very easy to use.
