Would it be possible to devise a hack for the 1000 to give it PAL capabilities in the following manner?: To build a small board to be plugged into the Agnus socket that would hold both the standard NTSC version AND a PAL version of the same chip in paralell with the chip select lines going to an external switch? I can't remember for sure, but is there not also a jumper on the motherboard for PAL that would be switched as well to effectively turn an NTSC A1000 into a PAL machine when both of these switches were active? Since I know little about electronics, and even less about the insides of my Amiga, I have no idea if this would work....but if anyone out there knows one way or the other, I would appreciate the info.
