Lines: 19 I am interested in learning more about SCSI controllers and DRAM. I figure that a good way to do this would be to build a SCSI controller and DRAM expansion for my Amiga 500. I know that I could save a lot of time and trouble by buying one, but I want to learn about these things. I also don't really care what the end result looks like (little black box with wires snaking out is OK). I do have decent hardware experience and can debug hardware. Does anyone have any tips or pointers to provide? What is the name of a good hardware book for the Amiga? For the DRAM I was planning to use 1Megx8 SIMMs. Any (useful :-) comments welcome.
