Keywords: device, serial, multi, port, enough, keywords, now Message-ID: <3641@uniol.UUCP> Date: 17 Oct 90 21:26:19 GMT Distribution: comp Organization: University of Oldenburg, Germany Lines: 21 Hi fellows&freaks, I'm posting this for a friend of mine... he's doing some experiments with the Amiga's serial port, as well as related software, and what he is looking for now is: Does there exist any kind of specifications, guidelines, or even software (.devices, handlers,...) to support a MULTI SERIAL BOARD ? That is, a board that expands your ONE serial device to, say, 8. Before trying to hack the stuff together himself, he asked me to post this before doing a work that has already been done. Well, that's the point. Look up what you have gathered about this stuff or what infos/rumours you have heard, and follow-up or E-Mail me...if there is enough interest, i might post a summary later. Thanx, and hoping to hear from you soon, Frank Neumann -- + Frank Neumann, Hauptstr. 107, 2900 Oldenburg, FRG The Amiga is it. + + Frank.Neumann@arbi.informatik.uni-oldenburg.de InHouse: amigo@faramir + + Zerberus: neumann@uniol.zer BitNet:295391@DOLUNI1.BITNET IRC: Franky +
