Quite a few Apple II software developers seem to prefer Merlin-8/16+ (Roger Wagner Publishing) for their assembly-language development. Although I own a copy, I haven't had the time to learn to use it so I can't really evaluate how it compares to ORCA/M. The vast majority of my software is written in C and is in fact not Apple IIGS-specific.
