Summary: How do we share shareware? Keywords: shareware, binaries Message-ID: <2396@sauron.Columbia.NCR.COM> Date: 18 Oct 90 18:36:41 GMT Reply-To: james@sauron.UUCP (James Simmons) Organization: E&M-Columbia, NCR Corp, W Columbia, SC Lines: 19 I was just wondering why the 8-bit atari machines don't have a binaries group. Is no one writing anything for these machines anymore? Is there no shareware or freeware around? I can't access the archive sites other than through mail servers. It would be nice if I could share some programs with the rest of you (when I find a modem for the 8-bit machines, that is). I have an old 400 that just quit working. I am trying to find someone to service it. If I get it fixed, or get another 8-bit machine and a modem, I will gladly share what I have written. I just need an archiver from out there in net land.
