The only working configuration that I found is in 720 KB mode. I am using AT&T Diagnostics/Setup Disk Ver. 1.03 that does not allow a 1.44 MB floppy drive selection. Making the Toshiba drive operational required changing the floppy drive jumpers for pin no. 2 from OPEN to INPUT LOW=2 MB and HIGH=1 MB. The jumper settings on the floppy drive controller card are set for dual 1.2 MB drives by using the following connections: HC-A, HC-B. Other AT setup utilities have been tried without any success. Does AT&T use a proprietary setup scheme, requiring me to upgrade the Diagnostics/Setup disk? Furthermore, do I need to reset my floppy controller card jumpers as well? Please email and I will summarize if there is sufficient interest.
