Still working on getting X11R4 clients to run on a 3B2.

These clients are trying to open /dev/ptmx, but keep returning
messages that it can't be opened.  Nevertheless, /dev/ptmx is in
the /dev directory.  I suspect that something may not be set
properly inside the kernel, but I'm not sure.  Cany anyone help?
