I have just aquired a VAX-11/730, with an RB80 121 Mb disk, which is
exhibiting numerous parity errors.  I have been told that RB80s which
sit for years, unused, do occasionally develop parity errors, which disappear
upon reformatting.

I have the pocket service guide and the user guide, but nothing more for the
disk itself.  What can I do to format the drive.  Standalone backup with
the /INIT qualifier does not work.
