When installing the "A" power supply into your B-model, get the "A" fan
too.  Then you'll have what I have but you got there
differently - a case, an "A" power supply & fan, and a "B"
motherboard.  The difference is mine started out as an "A".

 Also, unless you use an ancient full-height power hungry hard disk,
the "A" power supply will easily handle the full complement of
options in the Rainbow.

Is there a markey for old rainbows via this board?
 I tried before and got no word, except for a healpful woman from
Conmnecticut. Who said yes, but "where" remained a mystery.
 Any local word on this? 10MB Hrd Dsk, two drives, 128k ram expandable
to 640. standard monitor and key board. LA 50 printer.
 any info out there?

YES, THERE IS A MARKET.  How strong I don't know.  You can call Andrew
Taylor the newsletter editor for our local LUG's newsletter to
place an ad.  FYI I sold a working Rainbow with 640K of RAM,
with a hard disk controller but no WORKING hard disk for $200
today -- that was without a printer.  That should give you some
idea what the market is like.
