I resently installed an expansion card into my 48.  The first thing I did was
run <<DO 0 0 UNTIL END>> just to see how long it would go (about 5
minutes).  Ran it again and stopped it at about 4.5 minutes and the depth
was more than 44,000.  The stack clearing took forever.

I'm thinking of engraving my new hp inverstments.  Could the vibration of
the engraving cause any problems? to the Expansion card?  Calculator? or the
Engraver? (hehe)

In the manuals it says that certain applications take advantage of the user
flags.  Does the documentation that comes with the Equation card (or any
other hp cards) give a list of flags are used?

Problem follows:

With the calculator OFF.  I removed the card from port2.  Put the card back
in the calculator and port2 was still intact.

Again, with the calculator OFF.  With the card in the calculator I removed
the battery from the card, replaced the battery (after this incident I
checked, I had installed it correctly), then turned the calculator ON.  Only
to get a message bad data or something to that effect.  After seeing the
message I wasn't surprised to find a empty card in port2.  What did I do
wrong?


Now that I have a calculator that someday will be completely obsolete.  I'm
glad I didn't buy something as usless as a $500 watch.
