In my AUTOEXEC.BAT I load the mouse driver (MOUSE. COM) and the menu loader (LOGIMENU) into high memory. At this point all is well -- I can load any menus I've defined and they work. When I go into Desqview and start up a program (using a batch file which uses LOGIMENU to load a menu for the program) LOGIMENU says "Mouse driver not found". Now, I can do without logimenu without too much hardship, and the mouse still works with programs that recognize it's there (Manifest, Norton Utils, WordPer- fect, even Desqview!), but I'd like to know what's going on anyhow. I welcome any suggestions or advice, especially if you've run into this before yourself. If I get any edifying replies I will summarize them in a later article. Thanks for your time, Anibal Acero acero@quads.uchicago.edu
