I have a problem that is probably so simple I'm going to kick myself when
I hear the answer.  

How do you get MS Word to send Postscript to the printer?

I turn on the PostScript style and type in some postscript code (like the
example in the manual).  On my screen, it looks exactly like the example
in the ref manual.  When I print it, there is absolutely nothing on the
page.  What am I missing?
