You can only have so many files open at once, which is stored in the 'boot blocks' of your boot disk. The only utility I know of that changes this is included with Disktop 4.0. I think Suitcase II might do this. In fact, I would be surprised if Juggler doesn't since these are the programs that cause the problem in the first place. If it doesn't, just combine your font files. Also, you might want to get the initCDEV, which can shut off all but a minimal set of inits at startup, to conserve still more file slots (shareware, at sumex).
