Every one of the more than 20 responses I received expressed glowing praise of the package, with only a few mentions of quirks or drawbacks. The main drawback seems to be that, though the initial investment is only ~$60, you have to spend that much again every year to receive the updates for the next tax year. As for the software itself, quite a few people made comments of the flavor "This is the best software I've ever used [on a Mac/ever]" or "This actually makes doing taxes almost FUN!" If anyone is interested in seeing a summary of the messages I received, please send email and I'll be happy to pass it on. Again, thanks to all who responded.
