Some gripes! Summary: It's not a MacRecorder! Keywords: MAC II SI AUDIO QUICKMAIL Message-ID: <1990Oct17.013456.23967@CAM.ORG> Date: 17 Oct 90 01:34:56 GMT Organization: None Lines: 23 Like some of you, I got my first chance to play with a Mac IIsi today (ok, it's on my desk!!!) and I am a little dissapointed with the audio input. The biggest problem is that NONE of the existant software that we have here (including QuickMail v2.2.3 with voice mail) can SEE the damn thing!!! If you are aware of a driver that is available from either Apple or CE Software that enables QuickMail v2.2.3 to work with the Mac IIsi sound input, please let me know how to obtain it. Also, there seems to be a fair amount of background noise generated by the Mac IIsi's FAN and the Conner 40meg. I know there's not much you can do about that, but the mic (mounted on the right hand side of the screen) catches a lot of it. -- +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Pascal Gosselin | Internet: Pascal@cam.org Applelink: CDA0585 | | Gest-Mac Inc.
