He wants a *RELIABLE*, *INTERNAL* drive in the 200MB-1000MB range with maximum performance for the dollar. (But when it comes down to it, He tells me that "price is no object" - life's tough, eh?!) I have seen the latest issue of MacWorld where they review large disks. The top-ranked (in terms of performance) FWB/Hammer drives are indeed speedy, but they're pricey and come with only a 1 year warranty. Are there *other* drives that people can recommend (not just drive brands, but also reputable suppliers) that offer good performance (remember this is a IIfx) AND a good warranty? (The MacWorld article made reference to some new, high-density (~300-450MB) 3.5" drives from Quantum that would start appearing on the market in November - anyone have any details? I ask because Quantums tend to be reasonably priced and carry some of the better warranties (typically 2-5 years).)
