The LC motherboard has a 16-bit data bus. So don't assume that just because the IIsi is 20-MHz and the LC is 16, IIsi memory accesses will be only 25% faster. Because of the width of the data bus, they can actually be as much as 2* 20/16= 2.5 times faster.
