Since so many of the responses have been by posting, I've decided to not post the responses that I have received by mail; if you want them drop me a note and I'd be glad to email them to you. BTW, I discovered that the $1350 that the University of Chicago wants for the Classic 2/40 includes your choice of either MacWrite II, WordPerfect, or Microsoft Word (academic version). So it's not as much of a gouge as I had thought. Still, considering that it's about $200 higher than some of the other schools, it's not as good as it could be.
