Educators are willing to pay $1500 for a computer. $2000+ is just > too much. My own guess would put the LC 2/40 at about $1700. This is based on discounts we usually get on other Mac products. I think most educators would pay $200 over the "magic" $1500 for a Mac, as opposed to a PC. I also think those that want to run IIe software will pop for the additional $120 the emulation board should sell for.
