By using the about finder, I see that one uses about 1.5meg of RAM for the system and the other uses about 2.5meg. Why is this so different. I have removed all the inits, etc and reloaded the system (and even threw the system away and started over again). One clue...someone had a MacII that used about 2.1meg for the system before re-intializing his hard drive. Then the system went to about 1.2megs?!?! Any help would be appreciated. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= = John DeRosa, Motorola, Inc, Cellular Infrastructure Division = = e-mail: ...uunet!motcid!derosaj = = motcid!derosaj@uunet.uu.net = = Applelink: N1111 = = I do not hold by employer responsible for any information in this message = = nor am I responsible for anything my employer may do or say. = =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
