While we're on the subject of pictures in the Mac ROMs, has anyone seen
the picture hidden in certain copies of MacPaint or MacDraw?  Can't 
remember which one it is.

Apparently, if you hold down the tab key and the space bar when choosing
'About MacPaint' in the Apple menu, you get a surprise picture from the
author.  You really have to see it to believe it!!  The MacBible calls
it the 'sexiest tip' in the book. ;-)

The way I understand it, the first 20,000 copies shipped before Claris
figured it out and removed it. I'm lucky enough to have one of those 
and I have it safely tucked away, believe me.
