The first thing is a font, preferably PostScript, which has the astronomical symbol for the Sun: a circle with a dot in the center. If someone has a PD/shareware version, or can point me to a commercial font with this symbol, I'd be grateful. (I'm using MacWrite II, which doesn't have overstrike, which I used to use in Word to make the symbol; pasting pictures in doesn't help, because I usually want the symbol as a subscript) The second thing is a bit of PostScript code I saw in a magazine a few months ago. What it did was to print "DRAFT" in a light gray shade diagonally across every page of output. (Can you even tell MacWrite II to avoid formatting typed-in postscript? The manual doesn't even mention PostScript...) I've looked around and can't find it; I'd really appreciate a pointer to this code. Please email; conserve net bandwidth. I'll summarize if there's interest. Jeff Goldader University of Hawaii goldader@uhccux.uhcc.hawaii.edu Institute for Astronomy "It was the Lone Biker of the Apocalypse..."
