This process is needed to work on a Sun 386i preferably, or a Sun Sparc workstation. Up until now I have been trying to use TIFF to do this but for some reason my system fails to recognize the attribute CANVAS_COLOR24. So, alternately, I am also looking for a conversion process from Sun raster to TIFF (TIFF to SGI is working fine from what I am told). I can be reached on internet at gilhuly@krdc.alcan.int.ca
