Summary: seeking cursor address commands / speed question Message-ID: <31179@netnews.upenn.edu> Date: 15 Oct 90 04:34:47 GMT Sender: news@netnews.upenn.edu Reply-To: touch@dsl.cis.upenn.edu (Joe Touch) Organization: University of Pennsylvania Lines: 20 Concerning a Radio Shack WP-2, when used in terminal-emulation mode: 1. what terminal does it emulate? (if any in particular, i.e for a UN*X termcap entry) 2. what functions can the remote computer access by commands? (i.e. ESC-A does UP-LINE, and I know about ESC-B, ESC-D, ESC-K, ESC-H, ESC-C, and ESC-J - any others? can the cursor be addressed to a position? can underlining or boldface be turned on by escape codes? are there any other escape codes defined?) 3. is there any way to prevent the WP-2 from slowing down the input stream (even at 9600 baud, the screen data scrolls the same as if at 300 baud). Please send replies to touch@cis.upenn.edu THANKS!!!
