I'm sure this has been asked before but here goes...

I need to footnote an entry in a table

	blah blah blah\\
	blah\footnote{Hooey} blah blah \\
 	 	...

	----------------
	1
	  footnote text

	Table 5. Hooey

Sticking \footnote at the table entry doesn't do it. I get a
superscript footnote no. but no footnote text is printed.

I vaguely recall seeing something about using minipage to do this.

I appreciate any tips/solutions.
