Message-ID: <1990Oct12.195309.24850@unixg.ubc.ca> Date: 12 Oct 90 19:53:09 GMT Sender: Steve Cumming Organization: University of British Columbia, Vancouver, B.C., Canada Lines: 26 I'm designing a vegetation succession model based on cellular automata. Does anyone have any fairly general code for creating and maintaining the arrays? The things I'd like to control are 1) tesselation (as square, hexagon, etc) 2) state space 3) neighbourhood sets. 4) multiple level arrays, maybe, to represnet spatial interactions at various time scales. So, mere code for the original life won't be that much help. Is anyone else working on this sort of thing? -- stevec@theory.[toronto.edu|utoronto.ca] the best things in life Steve Cumming, a.k.a. always melt, and this is one of them.
