Lines: 15 I've got someone trying to get on the net who is running AIX on an RS/6000. The mail I receive from him is marked strangely in the "From:" field. It looks something like "From: !!root" for example. It doesn't put the systemid in the address. So, when it gets to my system, smail 3.whatever keeps putting the mail from him in /usr/spool/smail/input and it just sits there. My question is really two pronged. 1) How can I correct the problem on the AIX side? and 2) How can I get smail to accept such mail even if not correct? Thanx for any advice on this. ---*---*---*---*---*---*---*---*---*---*---*---*---*---*---*---*---*---*---*--- Jesse W.
