It runs UNIX System VR3.6. I have installed cnews2, and nn, and smail3 (with elm). What I am having problems with is we have a VAX on our ethernet network. I have tried to send mail to the Delta from there and the operator told me my side was denying access. He told me mail is transfered via SMTP. I can't find anything on SMTP in any of my docs. Smail talks about it, but only when used with sendmail, we don't have sendmail of course. Is there something I just need to set up to allow SMTP mail? Or is there a program daemon that I don't have? Thanks, you can email me if it's not general interest, or it doesn't belong in this group. -- Steve Brailsford Usenet: uunet!media!vitro!fsb Vitro Corporation Compu$erve: 73427,1466 14000 Georgia Ave. Voice: (301) 231-1481 Silver Spring, MD 20906
