Is there a way to set up /etc/inittab so that once I log into the console, a shell is spawned on the vt's? Or should I do this somewhere else, such as in $HOME/.profile? -- Tom Reingold tr@samadams.princeton.edu OR ...!princeton!samadams!tr "Brew strength depends upon the amount of coffee used." -Black&Decker
